Description
Refractory mortar is a product composed of molten cements and special aggregates that provide it with a thermal resistance of 1200ºC.
Applications
It is a special mortar for the placement of refractory bricks and masonry work that will be subjected to high temperatures such as barbecues and paelleros, wood ovens, fireplaces, stoves and repair of boilers or fire areas.
Preparing the support
The supports must be resistant, rough and clean. When it comes to very adherent or porous substrates, it is advisable to moisten them, to guarantee a good adhesion. Do not apply to plaster, painted surfaces, concrete blocks, shiny concrete walls and metal surfaces.
How to use

Place at least 2cm. of dough on the base and walls to stick them, and 1 cm. joint around the bricks to ensure a good grip.
Total setting time approx. 6 days.
