Description

Clay pot with a special design for baking bread in the oven.

 

Earthenware casserole specially designed for baking bread, which incorporates a slit around it to put the water, which allows it to get the necessary humidity and make the crust of the bread crisp.

This casserole is made of top quality refractory clay and incorporates the two pieces necessary for its use: the plate and the lid.

The measurements are: Outside diameter 30cm, Inside hole 23 cm, Height: 20cm

Instructions for use:

 

  • Place the pot with the lid in the oven and heat the oven with the pot inside for about 10 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the pot, place the dough in it, make a few ridges (even if the dough is sticky), and cover immediately.
  • Pour some water into the slot. Put in the oven and lower the temperature to 230 degrees Celsius and bake for about half an hour.
  • Remove the lid and bake for another 15 minutes until the bread is browned and hard.
  • Remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool on an iron rack.
  • You can also cover it with a clean towel.
